Dirty Hair, Don't Care!- 3 products that will change your hair game
If you have stumbled upon this blog, you are probably wondering- Why is her blog named dirty hair, don't care when the thumbnail shows perfectly clean and blow-dried mane!
So, to clarify:
- These are my pre- pregnancy locks when I had all the time in the world to wash my hair every other day and style it.
- And yes, my husband would smell my hair as it always smelled so good! Ask him to do it now, he would prefer to smell his sock than my hair!!
And why is that? Cuz......I wash my hair just once a week (say what??????)
Do I miss my fresh smelling hair throughout the week? Of course, I do! But do I give a hoot about not so fresh smelling hair? You got it right- I don't!
Between being a full time working mom, cook, chauffeur, planner, financial adviser, non stop nagger and the multiple other hats I have to wear, washing and styling my hair is the last thing on my mind.
So how do I keep my hair looking decent enough throughout the week? Here's what I do:
Saturday: This is "THE DAY" when I wash and style my hair.
Sunday- Tuesday: My hair behaves perfectly fine. No oiliness, no odor. (I do have a dry scalp).
Wednesday: This is the usually when my hair starts acting up. On Wednesdays, I use oil blotting sheets to absorb the excess oil from my scalp. I can still get away by letting my hair loose on hump day
Thursday: Dry shampoo to the rescue! If you are an avid dry shampoo user like me, you know most of the dry shampoos out there will leave a white residue that will make you look like you are dealing with dandruff issues. But I found the perfect dry shampoo that does its magic minus the George Washington look..
I also use a dry conditioner to counter the drying effects of dry shampoo.
Here are the products that have been saving my mane for years!

Friday- By this day, my hair is so dirty that no dry shampoo can save it! So, what do I do? Put my hair up in a pony tail or a bun. This is the fanciest I can get with my hairdo as I choose to save my limited patience for day to day parenting struggles.
So, if you are lazy like I am when it comes to washing and styling hair, do consider these tips. And when you go without washing your hair for a week without it looking nasty, do not forget to "Thank" me. I don't charge for my tips and tricks!
See you all soon my lovelies :-)
